🩹Medic Role Guide
Revives & Sustain
Carries the $2,000 Medical Bag to revive and heal squadmates on the objective, which pays for itself fast in kept-alive teammates and revive cash. Best cash-efficiency in the roster once you're good at staying alive long enough to actually use it — die with it unused and you've wasted a fifth of your budget.

Levels are within the Medic tree, not your overall WARDOGS account level. Sourced from early-access and beta gameplay — verify against the latest patch notes if you're mid-season, since Bulkhead tunes unlock costs and levels per patch.
AMP-9
Starter SMG. Very light (1.4kg) — several players deliberately keep running it well past the point it's "outdated" specifically so the rest of their loadout (Medical Bag, armor) doesn't push them into the Heavy weight class.
PP-19 Vityaz
Clear early upgrade. Always take the 30-round mag.
Smokes
Reflex sight
Defibrillator
The single biggest Medic power spike — enables the defib-then-heal cash loop below.
MP5
Considered a skippable sidegrade by some — recoil-pattern complaints are common.
Medical Bag
~$75,000 of Medic XP to unlock, $2,000 to buy each life. The role's whole point — team sustain that pays for itself fast.
Super-45
Called out repeatedly as the strongest weapon in the game right now: near-zero vertical recoil at a very high fire rate. Expect it to be a balance-patch target — this is a current-patch read, not a permanent verdict.
What Players Are Saying
Community consensus from current early-access play — a read on the present patch, not a permanent tier list. Expect this to shift after balance passes.
Weight is the deciding factor for the SMG choice more than raw stats: the AMP-9's low weight buys you room to carry the Medical Bag and real armor without tipping into the Heavy class, where you lose tactical sprint entirely.
The Super-45 (Medic Lv.35) is the most talked-about weapon in the current meta — treat its dominance as temporary and worth rechecking after balance patches.
Making Money as Medic
Role-specific tactics — for the full cross-role money-making guide, see How the WARDOGS Economy Works.
- Defib-revive a teammate, then immediately follow up with a bandage/heal on the same person — the combined defib+heal cycle is worth roughly $2,000+ per use and compounds across a squad. This is the fastest Medic cash and XP loop by a wide margin.
- Large defib batteries cost more weight than small ones (~2kg vs ~1.63kg) but carry roughly 3x the charges — better $-and-XP-per-kilogram if you're running the defib loop seriously.
- You get zero cash or XP for healing yourself with bandages — always prioritize teammates first.
